Flight Operations
1. A320 Captain ** Ref: YI/OPS/01/01/2008
- A minimum of 5000 hours as your total flying hours.
- A minimum of 800 hours as Pilot-in-command on Passenger Jet Aircraft.
- Valid ICAO ATPL.
- Age below 50 years on the date of joining.
2. A320 First Officer ** Ref: YI/OPS/02/01/2008
- A minimum of 1500 hours as your total flying hours.
- A minimum of 800 hours on multi crew Passenger Aircraft.
- Valid ICAO CPL.
- Age below 50 years on the date of joining.
3. Cabin Crew : Ref: YI/OPS/03/01/2008
Responsibilities
As the hostess on board the aircraft you will be responsible for ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to and the well being and comfort of our guests are taken care of.
Requirement
Must be a Degree holder with fluency in written and spoken English & Nepali and in the age group between 21 and 27 years. Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards with weight in proportion to height is essential. (Height: Female - over 160 cm. & Male over 165 cm.)
4. Cabin Crew Supervisor & Welfare Officer : Ref: YI/OPS/04/01/2008
Responsibilities
To supervise the day to day management of Cabin Crew personnel and ensure welfare issues of crew are addressed. Will also handle all administrative and organizational needs of the Cabin Crew department.
Requirement
Must be a Degree holder with fluency in written and spoken English & Nepali and holding a minimum experience of 2 years as a senior cabin crew member. A people’s person with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and win confidence of the members of the team.
5. Flight Dispatcher : Ref: YI/OPS/05/01/2008
Responsibilities
To provide critical support function to the company’s aircraft operation by accurately generating flight plans and responding quickly and efficiently to ATC slots issued, in order to optimize OTP.
Requirement
A licensed dispatcher with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar capacity in a commercial airline and sound knowledge of flight planning procedure and JAR Ops Manual is essential.
6. Crew Scheduler : Ref: YI/OPS/06/01/2008
Responsibilities
To create flight duty rosters for cockpit and cabin crew ensuring compliance of all legal requirements. To ensure regulatory trainings are scheduled and validity of license and other crew documents are maintained and updated accurately. To record crew flying hours and compute these accurately for maintaining accurate and updated documents and facilitate payment.
Requirement
Must be a Degree holder with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar capacity in a commercial airline. A quick thinker, with excellent interpersonal & communication skills and a logical mind will add value to the role.
Ground Operations
7. Duty Officer : Ref: YI/OPS/07/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for overseeing the Passenger Handling and Ground Operations functions including Cargo and Mail Services. Safe and Secure handling with on time performance of the airline will be the key result areas of performance in this role.
Requirement
Must be a Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft traffic handling or in a similar position, preferably at a supervisory level in hub stations having multiple departure and arrival flights. Basic knowledge of DCS (Departure Control System), DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations), Departure and Arrival procedures as well as airline reservations i.e. to retrieve PNR, confirm reservations etc. is essential. Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and excellent decision making abilities and proactive by nature.
8. Baggage Agent : Ref: YI/OPS/08/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for Baggage Handling, Basic DGR, and World Tracer.
Requirement
Minimum Higher Secondary Education with knowledge in World Tracer system and minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in baggage handling and settlements and Basic knowledge of DCS (Departure Control System), DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations), Departure and Arrival procedures is essential. Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and proactive by nature.
9. Check-in Agent /Boarding Agent : Ref: YI/OPS/09/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for efficient Passenger Check-in and Boarding at the International Terminal.
Requirement
Minimum Higher secondary education with minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role or in a customer service job is essential. Knowledge of manual and system check-in procedures will be an advantage. Must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and proactive by nature.
Commercial - Sales
1. Sales Manager : Ref: YI/COM/01/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for implementing the sales and marketing strategies of the airline both at base and outstation as required; developing and maintaining healthy relationships with government bodies, tourism departments, agencies and corporate clients to promote our business interests. Identify new opportunities for sales, new markets and agents in the region. Will be required to make key decisions regarding delayed/canceled flights, deals with consequent passenger/baggage problems.
Requirement
A Degree holder with minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a senior sales role within the aviation or travel industry is essential. Excellent negotiation skills, decision making and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role. Must be computer literate with good PowerPoint presentation skills.
2. Direct Marketing Executive : Ref: YI/COM/02/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for preparing and implementing tactical plans evolving from the marketing strategy of the airline. Will be required to maintain and update web-sites contents, data base management, e-marketing and all direct marketing initiatives including but not limited to organizing road shows, promotions, building brand identity and awareness.
Requirement
A Degree holder with extensive experience in similar role/activity in a sales and marketing/sales environment is essential. You will be required to be dynamic, creative and ’out of the box’ thinker to be successful in this role.
3. Sales Executive for Nepal : Ref: YI/COM/02/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for managing and developing sales amongst travel agents and promote online reservations in Nepal. Identifies key contacts, influencers and decision makers in travel agencies and conduct meetings to persuade them to flyyeti.com products and services.
Requirement
A Degree holder with a minimum of 3 years experience on the field in the local market. An aggressive sales-style coupled with excellent communication and inter personal skills are essential.
4. Call Center Agents : Ref: YI/COM/04/01/2008
Responsibilities
Answering in-bound telephone calls and addressing enquires from customers, suppliers and agents in a very proficient and pleasing manner. Ensuring reservation formalities are completed i.e. flight booking forms; prepare change of details, and issue flight ticket orders and accurate use of the reservation system. Will also be responsible for resolving customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as refunding money, and adjusting invoices.
Requirement
A Degree holder with excellent communication skills with a calm and collected personality will excel in this job. The ability to work on computer applications and systems and a good head for numbers is essential.
Human Resources
1. Human Resource Manager : Ref: YI/HR/01/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the day to day HR issues such as Recruitment of Manpower, Performance Management, Counseling, Developing HR policies and initiatives and advising staff on various HR related issues. Support functions like Payroll and Administration will also be under this job role.
Requirement
A qualified HR professional with good knowledge of computer applications and having a minimum of 5 years in a senior HR role is required to run this unit. Should demonstrate excellent communication skills both in English and Nepali, be proactive in nature and should possess the ability to deal with people at all levels.
Finance
1. Accountant : Ref: YI/FIN/01/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will handle all postings in the books of accounts including general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and suspense accounts in an accurate manner. Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, including accruals, assets, prepayments, and producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports promptly and efficiently are key areas of this role. Reconciliation of transactions, verifying vendor invoices, issuing debit/credit notes, processing payments and various other administrative functions for assigned accounts will also be part of this important job.
Requirement
A Degree in Accounting/Commerce with professional qualification in this field and knowledge of local Tax regulations and related areas is essential. A head for numbers, eye for detail and quick on computer systems will be added skills for this role.
Information Technology
1. Network Administrator : Ref: YI/IT/01/01/2008
Responsibilities
Will be required to provide technical support and troubleshooting to new and existing applications and hardware issues. Proactive and logical management of IT requirements will be a part of this role.
Requirement
A Degree holder with specialization in the field of Information Technology and having a minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in Windows 2000, 2003 server, MS Exchange 2003 Server, Cisco VOIP (Call manager + IPCC), Security, PIX & Juniper firewalls, routers, switches and gateways, Cisco VPN, TCP/IP, and Vlan, IIS, clustering, server mirroring and load balancing, anti-virus and knowledge of fibre connectivity is essential.
Engineering
1. Quality Assurance Manager : Ref: YI/ENG/01/01/2008
Responsibilities
Managing local and international air-worthiness approvals, audit and surveillance programs, procedure and policy manuals, human factor programs, internal maintenance, error investigations and working closely with local and international regulators, customer QA and safety groups will be some of the key responsibilities of this role.
Requirement
Licensed and Certified Quality Auditor with a minimum experience of 5 to 7 years either in an Airline or an MRO. Specialist QA training (e.g. Air Law, Audit ISO-9001, Air-worthiness, EASA modules etc). Valid Aircraft Engineering license (Airframe/engine or Avionics) would be an advantage. Excellent decision making & communication skills (English & Nepali) are essential.
2. Licensed Engineers : Ref: YI/ENG/02/01/2008
Responsibilities
To maintain aircrafts in excellent condition so as to ensure their safety and cost-effective operation.
Requirement
Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in the country of employment i.e. ICAO TYPE II, JAR, UK CAA or FAA is essential. Minimum 5 years experience with ICAO Type II license and A-320 and CFM56-5A/5B type training with approvals is essential.
3. Technicians : Ref: YI/ENG/03/01/2008
Responsibilities
To perform aircraft defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by a licensed engineer and ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer’s manuals and other publications. Ensure that replacement parts and components are of an approved type, correctly certified and released and are physically inspected prior to installation on aircraft or component.
Requirement
A Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with a minimum of 5 years experience in the above areas of A-320 and holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in the country of employment i.e. ICAO TYPE-II, JAR, UK CAA or FAA is essential.
4. Materials Manager : Ref: YI/ENG/04/01/2008
Responsibilities
To manage and operate aviation material stores and provide material and logistics support to the engineering team.
Requirement
A Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Purchasing & Supply Management with in-depth knowledge of aviation material requirements and regulations is essential. A minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing & supply, stores & logistics operations, inventory management, or shipping & dispatch will add value to the role.
5. Store Keeper : Ref: YI/ENG/05/01/2008
Responsibilities
To ensure that all aircraft spares received at KTM are delivered to the designated store with minimum delay and are maintained and made available when necessary. To ensures that all unserviceable spares removed from the aircraft are safely delivered to the stores dispatch area and collection of spares from Mores (Maintenance and Repair Organizations) or Freight forwarders as arranged or directed by the Materials Manager.
Requirement
A Degree holder with 2 or more years working in a similar capacity within the aviation industry.
